Installing Software via Software Center - Windows 10

Bay Path offers several software packages as optional installs on faculty and staff PCs that are running Windows 10. Users can select and install software at their leisure without a need for elevated permissions.

To view and install available software:

  1. On your computer, open the Start Menu. You can open the Start Menu by selecting the Windows icon on your taskbar or by pressing the Windows key (2024-09-23 13_29_49-Open the Start menu - Microsoft Support.png)

  2. From the Start Menu, navigate to the Microsoft Endpoint Manager folder. Within that folder is Software Center. Click it to launch.

  1. Select the software you wish to install and then click the Install button. The installation will now begin. Install status can be viewed by clicking on the Installation Status tab.
